Snow Belles........

Welcome Friends!

I started a new project on New Year's Day........................

Lizzie Kate "6 Snow Belles"
28ct Blue Breeze Lugana
DMC as charted with exceptions listed below:

712 changed to B5200
3811 changed to 3845
930 changed to 336

I'll be stitching this one with Lesleyanne, one Belle per month.  It took me forever to find a shade of blue that I was happy with but was thrilled when I found this one at my LNS.  I loved each and every stitch and look forward to the next design!

I also finished a couple of smalls that I can't share with you just yet and I started my ornament for this month's Ornament SAL.  I also joined in the TUSAL this year and am amazed at the amount of ORT's I have in such a small amount of time....................

TUSAL January

I'm not going to pretend that I love cooking but there is one thing I think I'm really good at........

Lasagna!  With lots of meat and three different types of cheese!  It's definitely not the diet version! I don't make it often because the ingredients are very expensive :)

It's time to go dig out a project I started last year that's been scaring me!  I need to overcome my fear :)  Hope you all have a great week!

Great work on your SAL Angela. Sorry I havent emailed you but I have come down with a terrible head cold and feel awful, basically just want to sleep and get away from it all. I will email you shortly so we can work out our SAL plans.

Love the design you chose for your new start!! Lasagna looks sooo yummy!! It's lunchtime here in UK, and I was enjoying my homemade salad (trying to be healthy) but now I really really want a slice of this dish :P

Snow Belles is lovely, they are on my to do list to stitch one day.

Your lasange looks divine, my other half loves it but I find it such a pain to make, so everytime he visits his mum he asks her to cook it lol.

Congratulations on your first project of 2013 : ) That lasagna looks wonderful! I haven't made lasagna in years. I wonder why? I used to be quite the cook but it's been more "catch as catch can" in recent years. Too busy stitching I guess : )
